Mcdonald’s just launched the new packaging design that uses QR codes to show nutritional information. it is going to be in all the take out and drinks.
Kevin Newell, McDonald’s chief brand officer, said: ” Our new packaging is designed to engage with customers in relevant ways and celebrate our brand. Customers tell us they want to know more about the food they are eating and we want to make that as easy as possible by putting this information right at their fingertips.”
The new packaging design launched in here in the US last week and will be distributed worldwide during the rest of 2013. The text is going to be translated to 18 different languages.
