And the Logo of the week goes to a London logo design: #London Nail Bar, by designer Juliana G.

We got a creative brief for a nail Salon with a very particular Theme and name… London Nail Bar. We had the challenge to create a London logo design.

We needed to create a logo as iconic as the city it represents.
What do you think about when you hear the word London? Definitely the Big Ben, probably the big red bus and also the underground.

We chose the Big Ben as the center for our London logo design. The Great Bell of the clock at the north end of the Palace of Westminster. It is a total British cultural icon, and probably the most recognized landmark of the city.

With this icons in mind now we had the task to merge that to the Nail Salon concept. And there is nothing more representative than a Nail polish bottle for a salon right?

The colors where just obvious. Red, white and blue from the British flag where a natural choice.

The end result is a great logo with a clever and memorable icon. You see it and it is a London logo design for sure.

A quick fact about the original of the name BIG BEN: The origin of the nickname is the subject of some debate. The nickname was applied first to the Great Bell; it may have been named after Sir Benjamin Hall, who oversaw the installation of the Great Bell, or after boxing’s English heavyweight champion Benjamin Caunt.

What are you waiting to get yours? We can help you create a logo as unique and representative as this one for any industry. Just select a package and fill out the creative brief. We will take care of the rest. For this and more creative logos visit our logo gallery.
